there's a problem with this channel

all channels work except channel 2 (ABC local channel) which frequently gives this error message:  "there's a problem with this channel" and the screen eventually goes blank for as much as 10 minutes.

Hello @chela1, let's work to find out what's causing this.

Please let us know how long has been this happening, and on what devices are you using to stream the service?

In the meantime, you can also give a try at these steps and troubleshoot. 

Let us know how the results.

It’s been like that for about 2 weeks. All other channels work well except channel 2 (ABC local) I’m using Roku and a Visio TV no control box

Have you tried to stream the ABC Local Channel on mobile devices or on the DIRECTV website?

You can also try these steps to troubleshoot common issues with ROKU devices

Have you contacted that local ABC? I had an issue with one of my channels a couple of months ago and I contacted the station via their facebook and they got it fixed.

I had this very same problem on CBS last night on Survivor.  Actually, I was recording and this error https://photos.app.goo.gl/vu7xPJuo1E3eDmE8A and intermittently (shortly) and then like 20 mins long.  For the last 30 mins was fine.  All the other channels, that I checked, were fine.  Pretty sure my internet solid and DirectTV Stream was wired.  Surfed CBS FB and didn't see any known issues.  Suggestions?

looks like a problem between the station and Directv. Seems like they fixed it.

Where are you located? I had the same issue with Survivor last night here in Seattle (KIRO7). No issues on the off-air feed.

Redmond/Seattle, so same exact problem and agree w/ TexasBrit on between the station and DirecTV, but I'm really surprised nobody is complaining, maybe I better complian...  Thanks for confirming where I thought the problem was, gf keep blaming it on xFinity internet...

Clearly a glitch between KIRO7 and DirecTV. I've had DirecTV Stream for well over a year and this is the first time I've seen this issue, so hopefully it was just a glitch.
