Traveling and can’t get most channels Directv stream

We are traveling in our RV and use a Roku stick with Directv stream while on the road. For some reason we aren’t getting most channels (the ones we watch! Major networks and att sportsnet sw). Kids at home say everything works fine on that TV. We’ve restarted and redownloaded app. I am out of suggestions. Any clue?

Edited to add that we had service fine for the first several days. This is a sudden issue.

We love being part of your RV travels and apologize for the missing channels. Checking your case here, I can confirm that since you are moving and your location constantly changes, you may experience missing channels as your programming is directly linked to your location.
If you want to double-check your location settings, you can access the following link: https://www.directv.com/support/stream/article/KM1354360 Also, if you are getting an error message regarding the lost channels, please let us know to further investigate. Juan, DIRECTV Community Specialist

We travel frequently and never have this issue. We are in the same location as last summer and we were able to watch att sw. here we had service fine for 3 days and then it just changed to not getting those channels. It doesn’t make sense.

How are you connected to the internet with your Roku?

Rokus do not have "location services", so you should see the same channels that you would see at home. But that can depend on your internet service.

What happens if you access DirecTV Stream using a PC or tablet?

Works great for me with Roku's or Fire Sticks. Been using in my RV for the past 3+ years.

What major networks are you referring to? AT&T Sportsnet SW may be limited based on your traveling location.

We travel all the time and have never had an issue accessing the same channels we would at home - including the location we are now. I definitely think it’s related to the Roku stick as the Roku TVs at home are fine. Very perplexed as to why today it changed when it was all fine prior (again we haven’t moved the RV in several days). Frustrating as I can’t figure it out.

We get the same issue if logging in on the phone on the same wifi. So something with the wifi I am guessing.

So do you get the all the channels with your phone if you use cellar and not Wi-Fi?

Nope. Also not getting on phone with cell or wifi. It’s weird. I was pretty sure it was wifi related but doesn’t seem to be.
