Trick to upgrade from 20 hour DVR to unlimited for free.

I just found this out and so far I know it worked for me and one other person. Try this trick if you are stuck with 20 hours on your DVR and don't want to pay to upgrade.

Go to the DirecTV Stream website and log in to your account. Click the button that says you want to cancel your subscription. It may offer you a free upgrade to the unlimited DVR service to try and retain you as a customer.
