Turning off the "are you still here" message on firestick using DTV app

I'm using a firestick that has screen saver turned off and data monitoring also turned off (all the physical TV power saving options are / have been turned off previously as we never had any kind of issues when we were on Comcast).

I was sold a commercial solution and was told that the features of DTV Streaming would be 1:1 with DTV Satellite / Comcast and that has NOT been the case.

1. There doesn't seem to be a way to turn off this "reminder" on my current setup.

2. There aren't any music channels so I'm forced to go to a 3rd party for background music for my restaurant.

This needs to be fixed to really be called a commercial solution.

Hi, @chizinks. At the moment, on the app itself, there's no way to turn off this message, and it is designed that way to prevent your TV from overheating. As of now, the music channels are not available on DIRECTV STREAM. DIRECTV is constantly evaluating the channels it carries and values customer feedback. Sophie, DIRECTV Community Specialist

The only way I've found around this is to use the DirecTV provided "puck" / endpoint / FireStick which has the option to turn off the 4 hour "Are you still there?" timer (it's buried deep in the settings menu) which is an additional $7 / month per addition puck beyond the first one which is included.
