Nope. Service only available in USA. Location services or GPS will show you outside of USA.

I refer you to the DIRECTV Terms of Service and EULA which very clearly answers this question:

2.6 Geographic Limitation. The Service is intended only for individuals located in the United States (excluding Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands). You represent and warrant that, at any time You attempt to access the Service, You will be located in the United States and will not attempt to access the Service from any other location or through proxy servers located in any other location. We may use technologies to verify Your geographic location and will block access to the Service based on Our good faith determination that You are located outside of the United States.

To repeat:

You represent and warrant that, at any time You attempt to access the Service, You will be located in the United States and will not attempt to access the Service from any other location

Canada does not lie within the United States.

Canada does not lie within the United States. Funny guy. I do know that. I live in the US but do go to Canada. I have Direct TV dish service that dose work in Canada under a special approval that lets me use it in my RV or my boat. I am asking if that plan will work for streaming.

Since the Terms of Service clearly say no, I'd be surprised if there's any exceptions like that.  The technical limitations of how they have to enforce this (based on IP addresses and IP geolocation) tell me it would make it hard for them to allow exceptions.

Technically, if you were using a Satellite Internet service that didn't Geolocate you in Canada, you'd probably get away with it. If you were using a VPN service that DIRECTV stream didn't recognize as a VPN service, you might get away with it.  But, you would be violating the terms of service.

With Satellite service, as long as you're in the footprint of where the satellite is casting, there's not a lot they can do to stop you.
