Using Directv streaming set top box with an HDMI switcher

I have a Fosmon 8061 3x1 HDMI switcher. I want to run my DVD, my local TV box, and my Directv streaming box through the switcher to my TV as I only have one available HDMI cable to the TV. Everything works but the Directv streaming box which simply keeps cutting out about every 2 seconds. It is completely corrected when connected directly to the HDMI cable. I tried adjusting the screen resolution to 1080 p to see if that helped but it didn't. Any idea what the problem is?

I have a Kinivo HDMI Switch 4K HDR (5 Port, 4K 60Hz, HDMI 2.0, High Speed-18Gbps, IR Remote) - and has been working flawlessly since December 2022/ I have 5 devices connected to a Samsung 4K TV. I see the Fosmon is at a 30Hz refresh rate, unsure if that might be the reason, but it's known that low-quality HDMI switches lead to image corruption and loss of audio quality. Unsure how the Fosmon is categorized but I see it's around 12 dollars.

Looked for your HDMI switch on Amazon. Some of the reviews say your switch doesn't work well with the Directv Stream box. That the Directv Stream box doesn't provide enough power to the switch. Suggestion was to keep on another device while using the Dtv Stream box. I'd get a new switch--one that's 60hz

Here is one of the reviews:

Try swapping the inputs for the DirecTV Stream box with one of the other inputs, to see if it is a bad input, on the switch..
