I’m having the exact same problem. I’m using a Firestick. Reinstalling app doesn’t help. DirectTv needs to fix this or start applying credit to the bill. This is ridiculous.

Why should Dtv apply a credit for a bill for something that is not their fault. It's obviously your setup b/c I checked my firestick, dtv stream box and even my android tv sideloaded app plays on demand just fine.

@Ludwick577 If you look around this forum, you will see many threads complaining of same issue. So it’s not a me issue. It’s an issue with their app. This is just one of many issues I have with it. Just because you are not having this issue, congratulations by the way, doesn’t mean the rest of us should just have to deal with it.
On-demand is one of their selling points; so if it’s completely unusable, a credit should be offered because we are not getting what we paid for. It’s as simple as that.

@DIRECTVhelp i haven’t been given any guidance from anyone so not sure what previous specialist you’re referring to? I’m on an Apple TV using the app. I’ve deleted the app and then re-added it and still having the same issue. Any other thoughts?

Thank you for the reply, @Ajwilliams1.
Let's try this steps to be able to watch the On Demand in your Apple TV:
- Check for app updates in your app store. If an update is available, install it and restart your device.
- Check for device software updates and install.
- Close and restart the DIRECTV STREAM app.
- Reboot your Apple TV.
- Uninstall and reinstall the DIRECTV STREAM app.
