Watching one frame at a time

When I had satellite, the remote offered frame by frame forward or dackwsrds once you pressed pause. But Gemini air doesn’t seem to allow that . Yes the left arrow goes back 15 sec and the right arrow advances 30 seconds which are nice to have but is there anyway to step forward or backward one frame at a time?

thanks

Hi, @richard276. Currently, the frame by frame for DRV feature is exclusively accessible on DIRECTV via Satellite service. Nevertheless, we are grateful for your input on this matter, and we will forward it to our team as a recommendation for enhancing the DIRECTV via Internet features. 💙

This type of feature is much easier to implement well in an on-premisse DVR (like satellite uses) than a cloud DVR.  That said, there are certainly ways that it could be done (a small sliding buffer in the device is one - it would have some limitations but would likely be adequate for most intended uses).  It would probably be far lower in most people's priority than some of the other desired DVR enhancements, however.
