we stream to 3 tvs, 2 work perfect, samsung 7000 quit connecting to direct stream 2 days ago

To be honest with you, all Samsung TVs perform very poorly with DIRECTV STREAM. You should buy streaming devices for all three of them. Down the road, support for Samsung TVs may cease and there are many bugs. You would be better off with three streaming devices. These may be Rokus, Fire Sticks, Apple TV’s, or even the handy DIRECTV STREAM Osprey boxes which have a handy remote and speedy performance.

• with that said, a recommendation would be to get a device for that specific TV, not for ALL of them
• I agree that the Samsung TV app has been buggy but lately, I see fewer posts about it - might be that they're improving?

@GTyz we all know that the DIRECTV STREAM app on Samsung TVs is absolute trash. It wouldn’t make sense to just buy a streaming device for that one TV. While the OP goes to purchase one, they should just buy all three so that way they can eliminate problems in the future with the other two TVs. Telling them to purchase only one now wouldn’t make sense. Hope you can understand.

I do understand @detuch254 , however, if the user doesn't have issues with the other 2 why spend money on that? (i think this is personal opinion), plus the user (not tech savvy according to the post) can start figuring things out on his/her own and slowly try/get used to a different remote. I personally love the Osprey remote (I really hate the AppleTV one). In the end, we're here to help.  

True, it is important for them to get used to the UI of the streaming device that they choose. I was just thinking that buying three streaming devices would be convenient for the OP so any future problems with Samsung TVs and the DIRECTV STREAM app can be avoided.

I've been with Dtv Stream since last August. Used the Samsung tv app for one day then immediately ordered the stream box. The app is really bad.
