What is the best alternative streaming service to DirecTV Stream?
Any folks here have suggested alternatives to DirecTV Stream? I would gladly pay more for less. I want news and business channels, with options to exclude NewsMax and OAN. No need for local as I have local streaming sites. I want to leave the legacy AT&T DirecTV Stream problems behind, along with Newsmax and OAN

Depends on exactly what you want. Do the free trials on the other services and decide which is best for "you".

Every streaming service has good and bad, about them. Many times it is not the streaming service that is the issue. There can be problems with one's Internet or devices used to receive the service.
As you have not listed what your problems are it is difficult to help you out.

Problems that have become fixtures of the product offering:
- Audio issues with CNBC and other stations which existed since AT&T TV Now was first introduced in beta years ago (most frequently associated with pauses for commercial breaks back then and now with channels on for long periods such as CNBC)
- No ability to exempt channels from stopping with "Are you still watching" messages
- I refuse to continue to fund garbage channels such as OAN and NewsMax
- No ability to contact actual support from DirecTV staff.
