Why doesn't my streaming box like Law and Order

So, my scheduled recordings keep deleting Law and Order and Law and Order SVU for no apparent reason.  Tonight's shows were on the schedule, until today, and I had to put them back on again.  So far this has only happened on these two shows, but why?  Because these shows are in syndication ,I have to do them manually, or I get every episode on every channel.  Why is it that regular DTV is channel specific, but streaming isn't?
