Why is SEC Network broadcasting in command center mode
I'm watching SC/AL football on SEC on mobile (I know that a TV would be better, but that's not available at the moment). SEC Network is broadcasting in command center mode with a split screen for football and stats at the bottom. Why would they not be broadcasting a normal view with the command center mode being on an alternate channel?

Same way on YouTube TV. The broadcaster controls the content on the streaming service.

Being on mobile,I didn't see the small print that the traditional broadcast was on ABC. Apparently this game was on both SEC and ABC.

Is there anyway to get DirecTV to use ABC instead of SEC?

Once I realized the traditional broadcast was on ABC, I switched over. I'd imagine you could record on ABC and that's the one that will be in the DVR.
