Why is this service garbage in almost every way?
Every day, spinning wheels and delayed broadcasts as the stream rewinds back to where it first locked up. Tonight, the channels go black and if they return at all, it is for maybe five minutes (3-4 commercials) and then it goes black again. When and if it restarts, I am back to the first commercial again. Your "chat" option gives me the same error message always (as it does for others). You made a big deal out of your "new look" but it still looks the same to me. Barely operable. And no way but this forum to let you know. Got to be better streaming options than this...

Totally agree, I have been with them for a long time, one time i was out of town for 6 months, put my account on hold, 3 months later they started charging me even i was not home, asked them for refund and they rejected. what kind of bussines tries to steal customers money like this (Edited per community guidelines)ty company. if i use it, i dont mind to pay for it. they try yo steal money a bit here and there, so pay attention to your bill, this company cant be trust, (Edited per community guidelines) YOU directTV and ATT, hope you will go bankrupt. You must have had DirecTV satellite. DirecTV Stream is an internet based service not related to DirecTV Satellite. They have no hold status. You just cancel.

We have a bunch of streams sampling and the worst was free Pluto...freezes, stops then replays, disappearing menus, uninstall/re-install almost daily just to achieve minimal functionality. They couldn't even get commercials to play properly...we joked they must have college interns running it. But then...
...we got DirectTV Streaming. I'll never complain about Pluto again because you get what you pay for. Direct TV has ALL the same problems (or worse) as Pluto but having the gall to charge for it. I got DT primarily for news and C-SPAN networks but I'm starting to think even that is no justification to keep the service. Total garbage.

What device are you using to stream? Performance is fine for me. No more issues than any other streaming service.

@PDKHort What devices are you using to stream? I watch both Directv and I watch PlutoTV often and I have not had the issues that you describe. It seems as if you are having the same issues for both services have you checked your internet speed to make sure that it is not dropping causing the issues? What is your internet speed?
