Cannot Get Closed Captions on HBO MAX app on Directv Streaming
I've signed into HBO MAX app on Directv Streaming. (I am streaming on my tv.) When I go through HBO MAX to set up closed captioning, it will not work. I select "Captions" - ON, and then select "RESET CAPTION SETTINGS". No closed captions appear. What do I need to do?

Hi doveybear! Here's how to get closed captioning while streaming HBO Max.
You may need to enable close captioning on your TV as well. Also, unexpected trends with closed caption can originate from different programming sources.
Your TV passes information received from the original program provider through to customers. The most common closed caption errors originate from programming sources and program guide information vendors.
It is recommended that you try the recommended steps at Subtitles, captions, and audio tracks or contact HBO Max for further assistance.
