Full Screen TV Display

When we switch to UPTV (Ch 338), our TV display shrinks and fills in the side spaces with a light gray/white border and top/bottom spaces with a black border effectively reducing our TV to a smaller TV. This appears to only occur when switching to UPTV. We have a Samsung 4K TV. Suggestions??

That's the way that UPTV is delivering their video to DirecTV. You might be able to tweak your TV's display size/format settings to fill the screen more.

Thank you. I was afraid that might be the case. I've also had some other stations that - upon pausing the recording then running again - will arbitrarily add side borders and slightly distort the picture with minor side to side compression. Exiting then restarting typically fixes it but is there an easier way?

Hi @ 70Zoomie we want to help sort this out.

Thank you so much for your accurate explanation, @litzdog911

You can troubleshoot and fix most of the problems with the DIRECTV service by resetting your equipment. Find out more about it here https://direc.tv/3KAezpC
