No close captioning on EPIX movie

I just recorded a movie on the EPIX free weekend. No close captioning when I go to watch it. Not happy!

Hi @DavidLMontgomery,  thanks for reaching out.

We're sorry to know that you're unable to enjoy your EPIX free preview at its fullest due to closed captioning is not properly working. Please keep in mind that DIRECTV passes information received from the original program provider through to our customers.

In these cases, it’s recommended to restart the device by unplugging it and plugging it back after 20 seconds or also by refreshing your DIRECTV service and equipment. For further assistance, please click here.

@DIRECTVhelp Channel 559 EPIX2 has no close captioning.

The other two EPIX channels 558 and have 560 do have it but for some reason 559 never does. Can you let the right people know at DTV to get channel 559 to have close captioning.

This has been issue for many months.

Thanks for that info. I am going to record it again on a non 590 channel and see if that works. This will give be (Edited per community guidelines) rights!!
