Recording from APP
I am able to schedule recordings to two HR-24'S in my house remotely using the APP, but the HR-24 I use the most does not even appear as an option to record to.. It is listed in my equipment with correct numbers, but just not an option in the app.. even more interesting, in the App, receivers that are not even recorders are listed?? How do I correct this other that moving a receiver that is listed to the location where the one that is not listed to..

No, moving the receiver to a location of another one that shows up in the app won’t fix the issue. All receivers have special receiver IDs and access cards that are named and identified by each location. However, the location can be changed at anytime online at your leisure. The point I’m trying to make is you can’t just put a receiver in the room of another and have the issue be resolved, all have their respective receiver IDs and access cards with locations attached.
Now, back to your question. Try reinstalling the app, relogging in with your credentials, and updating the app and device if necessary. What device are you using specifically? Which app is it called?

I am aware that just moving the HR-24 to a different location will not fix the issue..what I meant was to swap it with another HR-24 in the house that is listed on the App.. That way I can record in a desired room that I can't presently do. I have the DTV App installed on both of our cell phones, and the one HR-24 is missing on both phones.. I have also reloaded the app..

The app is called Directv... downloaded from their site..

puzzling. The only reason that would be the case is if the HR24 was deactivated or not on your account. And, of course, you don’t need an internet connection to schedule recordings from the app as the commands are sent over DBS satellite 101.
