Red Sox Blockout as well
I added the Sports Network to get the NESN channel to watch the Boston Red Socks games. We did not have a problem watching preseason. We were also able to see season opener and then we were blocked out for the rest of the games so far this season. This problem seems to be similar to the Philli’s fans problem. I am abundantly aware of the black out policy, however this is all games so far. What can be done to fix this issue so we can get back watching our beloved Red Sox?

You're outside of their market. If the game is against one of the following teams, you'll have to watch on that team's channel.
Baltimore Orioles
Cincinnati Reds
Washington Nationals
Atlanta Braves
If the game is not against one of those teams, then MLB Extra Innings or MLB.tv will have it.
The location of the game does not matter.
If the game is on a national outlet (ESPN, FS1, Apple TV, Peacock, YouTube), the game will be there exclusively.

Thanks for your info. We got the sports package including NESN as the direct tv representative advised. So I guess it doesn’t matter which package I get, it will more than likely be blacked out?

The sports pak does not allow you to view out of market games, you need the sports subscription, in this case mlb extra innings to view out of market. So many csrs DON'T understand this.

If you're located in 27021, you'll be getting the games of Atlanta Braves, Atlanta United FC, Carolina Hurricanes and Charlotte Hornets with Bally Sports SOUTH and Cincinnati Reds's games with Bally Sports OHIO.
With the Sports Pack you'll only have access to out of market college games, to get our-markets professional team games you can add an extra sports subscription such as MLB EXTRA INNINGS.
