Amazon prime on Direct TV
It looks like Thursday night football is on channel 9526. Is all other Amazon Prime content also available on this channel or is there an app that you can add to Direct TV receiver to access Prime content? If so where is the app available for download?

No, you would need to download the Prime App. If you go into the google play store you can download the app for Prime!

I think that channel is only for business accounts that have a special DirecTV football package.

I want to download the app to my Sharp TV. I have it on my iPhone and iPad and I have the USBC to HDMI cable but was trying to see if I could just put the prime app on directtv service connected to my Sharp TV and skip the device hookup

OK. Then this is the wrong forum. This forum is for DirecTV Stream service issues. I'll move this to the DirecTV Satellite Forum.
However, there is no way to load Amazon Prime on a DirecTV Satellite box. Let us know if you actually see anything tonight on that channel.

Sorry, Channel 9526 is ONLY for DIRECTV FOR BUSINESS accounts like bars, restaurants, etc. That was DIRECTV’s deal with Amazon, and they are not allowed under any circumstances to provide it to residential accounts (because that wasn’t the deal).
