Code 205.4 when using Bally Sports App.
After successfully connecting with DirecTV as my "Provider" on the Bally Sports App for many months, it stopped working around 8pm eastern time on 7/7/22 and I received code 205.4 that indicated that my DirecTV ID is not valid. So far, I've been on the phone with DirecTV technical support as well as their digital assistance group, who sent me back to technical support.

I see the bell icon, but there's no message icon up in the top right corner next to the bell icon.

This started with me yesterday. I cannot remotely access my sports apps either when it’s not feasible through DIRECTV app. This new app will not allow us to download recorded shows either.

Neither of my sports networks in question are Bally - mine is MASN and NBC Sports Washington. I cannot just watch on the DIRECTV app. The DIRECTV app has only one channel for each network. Both networks have 2 channels. Often my baseball team plays on the network not on my guide so that is why I have the MASN app to access both channels. Now I cannot so I am going to miss most of my games because I watch mostly out of my home because if this error. I have tried everything to fix the problem. I have changed passwords probably 10 times now. I have merged accounts. This code happens on my apple phone, my apple iPad and my windows laptop. Sorry it took a while to respond. Not just sports channels. I logged out of Starz just to see if the problem was with Bally or Directv and I couldn’t log back in and got the same error message I got on Bally Sports. I used the same thing DappyDoo did and was able to log back in to Starz as well. It’s all Directv, and it’s a shame that I had to use a workaround another forum poster stayed up half the night figuring out (BTW thanks again!!) instead of Directv coming up with a solution. And if someone from Directv says ‘reset your password’ one more time . . . .

Same thing happening here, Bally app on tv is working, in phone is not. I can’t watch DIRECTV from the box because it freezes for a few seconds every few minutes so I’m forced to resort to apps. Getting the 205.4 code. Tried everything I’ve read.

I’m having the same problem. I’m logged in to the Bally sports app on my phone, but when I try and link it to my account on my fire stick, it sends me to the Bally sports website on my phone and I try to link with direct and then I get the same code.
