Direct tv app

The direct tv app does not download my dvr. Every time I try to connect to it, it says can not connect at this time try again.

What DVR model?

Is the mobile device connected to the same home network as your DirecTV DVR?

Try resetting the HR54 using the red button near the access door.

If that doesn't help, try deleting and reinstalling the DirecTV App. And be sure it's the DirecTV Satellite App, not the DirecTV Stream App.

Reinstalling the app is very helpful to solve common issues like the one you're experiencing. We also recommend that you check on the Google Play Store app if you're getting the latest version of the DIRECTV app.
