Directv stream not showing local channels and channels showing don’t match satellite channels
My directv stream app is connected to my receiver, however I am not seeing my local channels. The channels on the app also do not correlate to the numbers via satellite. For example NBC is showing 12 on the app vs 11 on the tv, Fox as 46 instead of 53. I am able to use the remote on the app to control the tv but nothing else in the app seems to correlate correctly. Shows I want to record are appearing on channels I don’t have access instead of on the channel I do have access to and the show will be played on. I have tried resetting the receiver, uninstalling the app, everything that I could find in prior posts and nothing has fixed the issue. I find it extremely worthless to have the app at this point considering I have tried every fix made public and nothing is still showing correctly.

Are you a DirecTV Satellite or DirecTV Stream customer?

Satellite and iPhone. Tired of uninstalling and Reinstalling, restring, etc

remember, the app is a secondary way of enjoying your entertainment and won’t have every local channel for every market. Unless you are in a major market like Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, etc I wouldn’t expect the app to show most of the locals. Many of the reasons include copyright restrictions, channels without TV EVERYWHERE functionality, device limitations, and bugs with this new app.

Thanks and seems like the new app has lots of bugs. I guess Pittsburgh is not major enough for DirecTV. DISH works just fine! Go fig
