Guide search not showing free airings

The guide displays channels and content based on your current subscription, @RSkal. If you see a purchase or upgrade option, you may not currently subscribe to the channel airing the selected program. Is this happening with every show you search in the guide? Rhyan, DIRECTV Community Team

I searched a program to record and it only gave me a purchase Way To Watch even tho it’s airing on a free channel that I subscribe to next week. Normally, I’d see a list with all future airings but that’s not happening. Maybe it’s only the one program I searched but seemed odd. 

Appreciate that extra context. Because DIRECTV relies entirely on the schedule data shared by the broadcaster, a code error on their end can hide search results but won't impact the channel itself. We highly recommend tuning directly to that channel in your Guide grid, scrolling forward to next week's time slot, and setting the recording right from the broadcast line.
