HBO Max Not Recognizing Credentials
I have been unable to login to HBO Max with my DirecTV credentials for the past 3 months. I have tried using the PC, mobile app, Apple TV, and resetting my ATT/DTV password didn't help. I contacted DTV three times and all were escalated with no resolve. I also contacted HBO Max and they deferred me back to DTV.
I get no error codes. After trying to login on the HBO Max page using my DTV credentials, a popup says, "Can't verify your subscription. Contact your provider".
Any ideas?

That’s quite weird. Being we are customers on a forum like you, we wouldn’t be able to assist with this. It’s hard to tell whether DIRECTV or HBO MAX has the authentication/credential issue, but my guess would be something wrong with both services communicating.
Just to verify, when you log into HBO MAX, are you specifically choosing log in thru TV Provider and DIRECTV (Not DIRECTV STREAM)?
Does your DIRECTV.com online account show that you subscribe to HBO/HBO MAX?

It is weird. I have spoken to numerous CSR's and countless hours on the phone. I've had the Premier package for years and was using the HBO Max app on Apple TV with no issues until recently.
When logging in, I select sign in with provider and DirecTV.
