HD channels no longer available, must watch in low resolution

I just had my roof replaced last week so naturally they had to take the dish off the roof, but they never unplugged any wiring from what I could tell and re-installed the dish in the same place. Is there a fix I can do at home to get my HD channels back or do I need a tech service? Thanks!

They didn't properly realign your dish aim. You might be able to do it yourself. Search for YouTube videos. Or call DirecTV for a service visit.

It's really difficult for roofers to put the dish back "in the same place". You need to go through the aiming process, even a small error will result in poor reception. Most people just call directv for a service visit, then you can be sure it's done properly.
