Linking MLB.com

I recently purchased MLB.com through Direct TV but could not figure out how to access it through the MLB app on my phone.  The Direct TV rep had no idea how to do it.  After three tries, I got an MLB.com rep who walked me through the process of linking the accounts.  Go to MLB.com then hover over MLB.TV and click on MLB.TV with Extra Innings and walk through the rest.
