Losing signal on some, not all, channels
Several channels like TBS, Comedy Central are reverting to streaming which would be ok except they start buffering. This never used to happen with streaming, and it’s not my ISP, The download speed is fine when checked on my iPad, phone, computer. Could a tree canopy affect just one satellite? It just started happening since the crepe Myrtle nearby started blooming.

Thanks for sharing a detailed breakdown, @pdv. Yes, tree and plant growth may impact Satellite service. We have a technical specialist ready to help with your equipment setup and determine why signal interference has become more frequent. Sending you a DM now. John, DIRECTV Community Team

Nope, it just shows the switching to streaming message - I have it set to do that when the signal is lost, and it usually works perfectly during clouds and rain. This seems different because it keeps buffering mid-stream, which never happens when it’s due to rain.

If it keeps switching to streaming when the weather is good, then something is wrong with your satellite setup. The dish could need realignment. Or maybe a loose/corroded coax cable/connector somewhere.
