NBA League Pass games on NBA app won't work with DirecTv login

My NBA League Pass account is activated.  I can watch games at home on my tv.  I cannot however watch games out of home on the NBA app.  

I'm logged into the NBA app with DirecTv as my Service Provider.  I am not logged in with my NBA sign-in.

When trying to watch a game on any device - phone, iPad, computer - I get an error message - "Your plan does not include access to League Pass. Please contact your TV Provider to upgrade."    

DirecTv customer support has no solutions, they had no idea how to fix this.  I asked to be escalated to a higher level of tech support.  I was told someone from the US tech support team would call me.  They did not call me.  I've posted this question before in this forum and was not given a solution from DTV Help.   


i've never been able to watch a game on a device in the 4 years i've had League Pass with DirecTv.  Not seeing any solutions on this forum or anywhere else where anybody solved it.   Is there a fix or it just won't work ?
