New List format is awful

The new List function is horrible.  Under the old format, I could select recorded shows with one button.  The new function is counter-intuitive and just awful.  Whoever thought of this ought to be fired.  Is there a way to revert to the old format?  Aside from the never-ending commercials, this gives me another reason to drop my overpriced subscription.
