On-demand not working properly
I watched an episode on-demand, but the next one wouldn't play. It said I didn't have the channel. Why would it say that when I know that I do have it?

Try resetting your receiver.

What package do you have and what channel was the on-demand content on? Simply refreshing the receiver online at DIRECTV.com should fix your issue.

So I refreshed my receiver online which didn't seem to do anything at all and I reset it by disconnecting and reconnecting it but that did not change the issue. Anything else I can try?

@sours
what package do you have and what channel was the on-demand content on? What happens when you tune to the physical live channel of the on-demand content,

Sometimes it can take 24-48 hrs for on demand to come back after a rest. I would call into loyalty department and speak with them 1-800-288-2020. Just say loyalty department when you get the automated assistant.

@CobbTotem3
The number you provided is for AT&T support. The number for DIRECTV is and has always been 800-531-5000
The loyalty department likely won’t fix an issue with on-demand on one episode. The OP is better off getting tips here. (IMO)

@detuch254 No It's the number for the loyalty department. You call the number I said and say Loyalty at the automated system it will ask you a few questions and then transfer you to an agent. Don't believe me. Call it yourself and when a person comes on the line ask them is this Direct TV Loyalty Department. They will say yes.

I never said it wouldn’t work, I just said it’s the number for AT&T support. Since AT&T and DIRECTV are now separate companies, it doesn’t make sense to call a number that will eventually redirect you to DIRECTV. I’m not saying your method won’t work, but it’s better to go directly through the DIRECTV number.

No it doesn't make sense to you @detuch254 . @sours call the loyalty department. They will help you out. It's always better to go through the loyalty department.
