Pandora App Not Working Properly

Anybody happen to know if DirecTV is ever going to fix it's Pandora app.  Every time I try to listen to the app, it keeps locking up usually after maybe 3 or 4 songs and 1 or 2 commercials.  However, today it locked up after the very first song.  I hope this is not going to be like their Weather Channel app, which has not had a working radar in probably 2 years now, meaning they are NEVER going to fix it.  I have an old, probably 1st generation, Genie receiver.  If they, DirecTV (AT&T), are not going to keep their apps working, they should remove the apps altogether.  But what can you expect, we are talking about DirecTV/AT&T!

The HR34 Genies are under powered to run the new software and should be replace,  Pandora runs fine on my HR24.

My model is actually an HR44/700, so may or may not be a 1st gen, but it is old regardless.  However, I'm not interested in getting a newer receiver.  I've got just a couple of months left until some discounts expire and my monthly bill sky-rockets again.  At that time I am just going to cancel DirecTV and switch over to 100% streaming, which is significantly cheaper for the same, if not more, programming.  I just figured the Pandora app was going the way of the Weather Channel app, which hasn't been fully functional now for probably going on 2 years now.
