Retirement Center Account
I just moved into a retirement apartment and they offer direct tv as an amenity. How do I setup a user name for my streaming account. I want to be able to watch the tv on my tablet.

Go to the Dtv stream website...you setup/purchase accounts on the website.

Your community probably offers direcv satellite. This has nothing to do with directv stream, they are separate services

You don't. There is only one username per account. Please confirm, DIRECTV STREAM or DIRECTV satellite? With DIRECTV SATELLITE FOR BUSINESS, your apartment is given one account, one username and password (only assigned for staff members and/or the owner themself). What you are offered is an HR24/H25 receiver to watch only on a TV.

It's possible that the retirement center has its own tv channel distribution system or specialized "hotel" setup. You'll need to work with the center's management in that case.
