In regards to your Sharp TV unfortunately it is not fully compatible with the genie remote.
Not all TV's will work with the DIRECTV remotes. Some may have limited functions like: Controlling volume Turning the TV on or off.
In some instances, trying other model codes may work for your TV. Searching other forums or online may help you find the best solution. If nothing works, You may need to purchase a true universal remote.
