Sound and audio cut out on all channels sporadically

Everyday on all network channels the sound and audio cut out every few minutes. I had a directv service man out a few months ago and he said it was a problem with the networks and Directv had complained to them repeatedly. This has been going on too long. What is the fix?

If it happens on all channels that’s not a network issue. If it was, everyone here would be complaining.

What error codes do you get? If you have more than one receiver, does this issue persist on others? What troubleshooting have you tried? What is the receiver model? How is the receiver connected to the TV/speakers?

HR54-500 and CR41-100 are the receivers, don't have speakers attached. They are hooked up directly to the tvs. THe only troubleshooting I have done was to have a directv tech come out and tell me it was the network and they were working on it. There are no error codes, the tv just loses audio and then video for a few seconds and then comes back.

Have you tried a new HDMI cable from the box to the TV to see if you don't experience the issue ?
