What channel?

Did this ever work properly?

Can you view other streaming channels?

What DVR model do you have?

All of our channels give the same error when trying to stream on any device. Used to work before we upgraded to Genie 2. Thanks. We’ve tried reloading Directv app and changing password.

Hey @DJ_Lutz! Let's get you streaming with the DIRECTV App. Thank you for the assist @litzdog911!

Let's refresh your channels. Then uninstall/install the DIRECTV App.

Please also try resetting your receiver.

If this doesn't help, I just need additional information to better assist.

  • What channel are you trying to stream?
  • What package do have?
  • Have you try streaming from a different device?

Please let me know if this helps.

Apparently our Genie 2 is connecting to our wireless internet well enough to do speed test. Do we need to hard wire the Genie to the router?

Thank you for the information, @DJ_Lutz!

If your internet connection is great, no need to switch to Ethernet, unless you think it would be beneficial. You do have to be on the same network connection as the device your trying to register.
