At this time there no way to disable the local weather access tool. You can try deleting your zip code to see if that helps. We do apologize for the inconvenience.
I am unable to remove the zip code. I tried to replace my Home Zip Code with all zeros and it stated that it could not find that zip code. I don't know how the Home Zip Code was entered and there is no way to remove it.
After deeply reviewing your case. we want to confirm that there is no way to disable the local weather access tool, and the zip code is established on our system based on the services/billing address. Deleting or changing the Zip code on the receiver will only affect the coordinates of the Dish.
