Updated Directv App
I cannot find the new Directv App for mhy Kindle Fire HD 10 after receiving error message to update the old app. I deleted the old App and now cannot find the new app anywhere in the Amazon app store.

I am not looking for the new STREAM app. The app I had been using for years was calling for an update but would not update and now cannot be found. This is the info about the App on the Directv site: https://www.directv.com/support/satellite/article/KM1044852/
It clearly shows that the Kindle Fire HD is compatible but the app is no longer available in the Amazon app store.

If the DIRECTV app is not available in Amazon app store, you can try to download it from play store. When you search the app on that store, you should be able to find it. In case there's still an issue, we have an advice regarding your tablet model.
There's an Amazon Kindle HD 10 that came out on 2015. That model is a 5th gen Kindle, but DIRECTV App requires 6th gen e-reader and above. If that's the case, you should try with a compatible device.

My Kindle HD 10 is a 7th generation device that was purchased about 2 years ago. I tried the play store to get the app but it does not download as it is not an android device. Amazing that app was available and working fine for several years but the "update" now makes its use on my device nonexistent.
