Using my LG MR22GN remote to control the Direct TV top box
I have synced my LD MR22GN remote to the Direct TV top box but the only controls that work are on/off, channel, volume, and favorites list. How do I use this LG magic control to record and play programs that are already recorded?

Most TV remotes don't have the codes needed to operate DTV receivers which is why you program the DTV remote to control the TV.
