videoguard installation failed
Videoguard player stopped working and prompted to install the player. The installation process could not be completed with error code 1722. Here is the detail message- Product: Synamedia VideoGuard Player -- Error 1722.There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected. Contact your support personnel or package vendor. Action create_and_install_cert, location: C:\Users\rayyl\AppData\Local\Synamedia\VideoGuardPlayer\VideoGuard13\, command: C:\Users\rayyl\AppData\Local\Synamedia\VideoGuardPlayer\VideoGuard13\create_cert.exe
Tried the creat_cert.exe alone found the following- Root "Trusted Root Certification Authorities"

Cannot find the certificate and private key for decryption.
CertUtil: -store command completed successfully.
Any idea how to rectify this. AT & T support is helpless. There is no support from Synamedia that I know of.

@DIRECTVhelp I am having a similar issue when installing the Synamedia Videoguard player on Windows 10. The error message is instructing the create a file path which is partially cut off in the message popup. The error displayed is "Error 1721. There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor. Action: create_and_install_cert, location: C:\Userser\{MyUser}\AppData\ ... \create_cert.exe"
