Hello there. At the time, 4K programming is carried only through DIRECTV via Satellite. You can still use our Gemini device to stream 4K content from 3rd party apps when available. Our team continues working to deliver an unmatched viewing experience whether you use a satellite dish or your existing Internet service, so keep an eye out for any future updates from DIRECTV STREAM.

The only thing at this time that is offered in 4K is Ice Airport Alaska on the Smithsonian channel on demand; Discovery on demand has Alaskan Bush People which is offered in 4K; and Food Network on demand has Girl Meets Farm Cooking, Valerie's Home Cooking, Delicious Miss Brown in 4K; HGTV on Demand has House Hunters International in 4K. To my knowledge, these are the only shows I have come across that are offered in 4K there could be more, and as you can tell it is only offered on demand at this time. So they are slowly adding offerings in 4K if you give them time then there might be more offerings as they have been making a lot of changes.
