After watching a recorded show in a series instead of the next recorded episode, it switches to on demand

This is with the app, on Roku tv,  Roku and my iPad, different internets, different cities. This started happening November 2022, I am not sure if there was an update or not, I am on the go a lot, hence the app. Before, I would record series (different shows, different channels) and my down time ,binge on everything I missed while I worked. Now I am having more and more issues, the main issue being that as one episode ends, I have in the past fast forwarded to the last few seconds, hit delete, and the next recorded episode starts. Now I have tried letting those seconds (reality about a minute) just play, fast forward like before, fast forward using 30 seconds, let the last 45 or so seconds play, almost all the time now it switches to on demand, same show I was watching recorded, but not the recorded episode, and I have to go back into library and restart the next recorded. This also happens when I have watched an episode so many times, I just fast forward to the end, delete, and before the next recorded one would play, but now, it also goes to on demand. I rarely use on demand, I prefer my method of watching tv because it’s a calming routine after my hectic job, and there isn’t much on live tv during my down times.

Is anyone else dealing with this? If so, are there any fixes?
