Another problem with DirectTV streaming audio sync
I watch the Tennis Channel a lot and this is driving me crazy. When I start to watch my DirectTV streaming, the audio and the picture are synced perfectly. But then within 5-10 seconds there's a lag in the video for a few seconds, and when the video resumes again, the sound is ahead of the video. So during a tennis match, you hear the ball being called out before the player even hits the shot. This also happens in baseball, where the announcer tells you the player just hit a home run before he's swung the bat. This didn't happen when I first started using DirectTV streaming last year. On shows where people are talking, their lips don't match up with what they're saying. If I can't come up with a solution to this, I'm going to have to cancel my subscription. This doesn't happen on ESPN Plus or Netflix or other streaming services I use.

What device are you using to stream your Directv Streaming Service?

I'm using a Roku. I've been on the phone with DirectTV tech support, and so far nothing is working.

What have Directv customer service had you do to try and fix this issue? I do not want to tell you to try the same things that they have. Also, is this happening on any other channels besides the tennis channel I know you said it also happens when watching baseball but is this happening on any non-sports channels?

Audio issues have been reported on Reddit/FB/Forums - the workaround is to change channels (Live) or rewind 15 seconds (DVR). AFAIK, the following specific Roku models are more prone to these issues: Roku Stick / Roku Stick+ / Roku Express (non-4K) / Roku Premiere. All of them, TBH, are old and cheap devices. Have you tried changing channels? Do you have one of these models?
