Audio Issues with Firestick and Smart TV

Direct TV stream with Firestick, the audio keeps cutting out frequently, especially when using the DVR. Also, I get many interruptions stating the network is heavily congested try again later. Very frustrating! I have tried all the fixes that the website gives. The router is one foot from the tv and the internet is very strong. My other devices work great, tablet/phone. It's the Firestick and TV the audio has always been like this. Please help!

Your WiFi router might actually be too close to the FireStick. Try moving them further apart and see if that helps.

Thank you, the firestick and router are 5 feet apart. Placed on each side of the 60" tv.

Hello Raidernut11, thanks for bringing this case about the audio issues with your Firestick to our attention. We want you to enjoy your favorite programming with no inconveniences. Please let us know if you're experiencing the same issue when streaming other apps apart from DIRECTV. Ronny, DIRECTV Community Specialist

Thank you, Ronny! Netflix, and Prime Video, for example, work fine. It mostly happens when playing back the Direct TV stream on the DVR. Also, on weekends watching any channel, it tells me that the network is heavily congested so please try again later.
