Auto switching to Netflix when paused

My stream box has been auto switching to the most recently used app on pause and during live tv for the past few weeks. Doesn't happen much so it's not a nuisance--yet. What I do is hit the apps button on the remote---then force quit the most recent app. Obviously a software glitch. I've reported it to them so they are aware.

When I pause a live show for like a few minutes and walk away then come back to tv its on Netflix and I can't rewind my show from live tv. Why is it? please help!!! This started about a week ago.
