Awful sound
I am so sick and tired of having the sound on my TV whenever I watch your service drop off, get distorted or just flat out stop.
Don’t give me your (Edited per community guidelines) that it is my TV or my internet connection because this happens with several friends of mine in different towns.
Your service is a joke, you should be ashamed of your product.

This is a public forum and we are customers just like you, so we deal with the same service as well.
What channels have this issue and what streaming device are you using? Thanks for the additional info.
Additionally, run an upload and download speed test and report back on the forums what the test results were.

Keep in mind that streaming is a continual back and forth between your device and the Dstream service. If the handshakes are off, I believe that is when the issues arise.
Have resigned myself to the fact that streaming is not as stable cable tv (cable tv streams are one way, not a back and forth). The savings now are worth it.

I came onto this forum to see if anyone else had sound issues. "Sounds" like I'm not alone (see what I did there?). I just started my subscription a few weeks ago. I am running DirecTV Stream on a Roku TV and also on a Roku Stick. Both have quick split-second sound glitches every 10-15 seconds (the sound drops out a bit with a small electronic buzzing sound taking its place - hard to explain it any other way). All other streaming apps/services on these Roku devices are running fine.
Hopefully they'll get this issue resolved.
