Bally Sports Network blocked
I just installed DirecTV Stream so I could watch the St. Louis Cardinals on Bally Sports Network. Even though it is advertised as being included in the Choice package, it was blocked. When I contacted DirecTV about it, I was given 3 different explanations. I was told that since the physical location of the house is a different state than my credit card address, it was blocked and the resolution was to set up the payment with a credit card in the same state. I was told by a different person that there are no regional sports providers for my zip code in southern Illinois and that's the reason the channel was blocked. Then, I was told by a 3rd person that Bally Sports Network is not available in southern Illinois, only Southern Bally and Cincinnati Bally. By then, I was so confused that I returned the equipment and cancelled the service. Does anyone know the correct answer to my question?

I live in Southern Illinois and receive Bally Sports Midwest. You need to have the correct billing zip code on file with Dtv Stream and it must match your credit card info. And, the zip code must be in the area where (Edited per community guidelines) Midwest is available.
Not sure why you didn't come in here and ask this question before you cancelled your service.

Thank you for your response. I couldn't believe that people in Southern Illinois couldn't get Bally Sports Midwest!
