Cable boxes unable to stay connect to WIFI
I have 3 boxes in various parts of the house, whenever the tv is off or idle, the Wi-Fi disconnects from cable boxes. All the cable boxes do this and I would have to reconnect to the Wi-Fi each time. This is a fairly new problem, after living in this home for a year, the boxes have started to do this for the last month. AT&T is the provider for the internet, and none of our other internet devices have this issue. The only solution AT&T gave me for this problem was to buy a power bank for the router. I am more convinced the cable boxes need to be changed out, but AT&T has stated that is not necessary.
Does anyone have an idea what is going on with this?
Thank you

By "cable boxes" do you mean the DirecTV Stream boxes?
It's highly unlikely that all 3 boxes would simultaneously have defective WiFi. It's much more likely that something happened with your home WiFi signals. Perhaps some new sort of interference? Can you connect at least one of the boxes directly to your home WiFi Router using an ethernet cable as a test?

Yes, I meant streaming box. From the location of the router, it is not possible to connect the box to the Wi-Fi router.

Have you rebooted your modem and router lately? I would try that first.
