Can Google Home Device automation change Directv Stream Channels?
No matter verbiage I choose, anytime I give a Google Home device (NOT the Directv remote) a command to change channels, it always opens YouTube. I’ve read boards going back three years with no resolve other than those that include Home Automation system (which I don’t care to get & set up at this time).
what’s the fix???

Not possible!
I can turn the receiver on and I can adjust the volume.
Also from on the home app…. I CAN adjust channels.
I can not do it verbally with the google home device. I cannot set up a workable automation in the google app that WILL adjust the channels.
Google assistant DOES work through the remote.
So somehow it “should” work.
