Can't stream DirecTV on TV away from home

Are you a DirecTV (Satellite or Via Internet) or DirecTV Stream subscriber. They are 2 different subscription services.

No. This is what I get after logging in. I can't go anywhere past this.

You said you could not log in. How did you even get here? This does not even look like a DirecTV Stream screen.

It is Directv Stream because thats what i have. I can log in but I can't watch anyTV. I showed these screenshots to a tech in the store and he was puzzled too.

Correct. No channel. Streaming does work on my phone and laptop.

That is because your phone and PC has location services and knows where you are located to give you the correct channels for your location. Your screen snap indicates a local channel. Is it locals that you have issues with but other channels work?

Honestly haven't tried other channels except my local Regional Sports channel and that didn't work either.

Locals are based on your billing zip code and location of your ISP's modem at time of installation. If you set up the devices at your vacation home and use your permanent billing CC info, the service thinks you are out of your home network because Fire Sticks and Roku's do not have location services to determine where you are. Your solution is to have a CC for your vacation area when you travel or obtain a device that has location services like Apple TV or DirecTV Stream's streaming device.

Thank you for the information, but it is strange that using my grandson's login works. He lives in another zip code from me but not the same one as my vacation home.

To further complicate matters, my login worked at the vacation home for one month after I got the service at home and then it stopped letting me watch. And that's where I'm at today, 6 weeks later.
