Care Code: 201

I updated last post.  Terrible product marketing by the company.  I'm in the Stream forum and have stated I only have a Stream login.  Sorry.  It's confusing for users as well.

On the Syfy Now app what provider did you pick? DirecTV or DirecTV Stream? Because it works for me.

I used the Stream one as the provider.

I think at this point it's just something messed up with my account and will take it up w/ help desk.  

As an additional note, my account is with AT&T and the accounts are linked there.  I've verified that multiple times and if I try to edit my profile on directv.com I'm taken back to AT&T.

Are you able to login to your DirecTV Stream account on-line?

Yes.  In the Stream app other than on Firestick and online in a browser works fine.  I don't need to take more of your time.  Thx.

What do you mean your account is with ATT? Are you signed up for other services with ATT as well?

Yes.  Phones and Directv stream (previously Directv Now) are all through AT&T.  The accounts are linked and managed as one account.  Directv Stream is replacing AT&T WatchTV.

I saw the pic & it is the same one(pic)that I am getting with my Direct Streaming app. Going to try to delete it tomorrow, then reload it & try again. If this doesn't work, I'll see if I can get a tech service person out here. BUT, if it fails again, I'm going back to my previous carrier.  I've had enough. Three days until Thanksgiving & company is coming!!

How is this confusing? The service pkg I bought says Direct TV & Streaming. I'm purchasing from AT&T. Actually, when I first bought it,  it was AT&T TV & Streaming. Then I was notified that AT&T had purchased Direct TV and it will now be called Direct TV & TV Streaming. Still owned by AT&T. 

Directv stream doesn't have techs come to your home,  that is satellite. 

Also, it is called Directv Stream ....not Directv and streaming

Have you read any of the comments posted in this thread? As already stated, Care Code 201 is a DirecTV satellite error not DirecTV Stream. Are you a previous satellite subscriber or At&T subscriber using the same credentials? You need to use a different credential for the DirecTV Stream service.

DirecTV and DirecTV Stream are 2 different subscription services. They both shared the same app. Well are yo a previous subscriber as I asked?
